Reno, NV., January 25th, 2010
Don’t miss our next meeting on
Tuesday, February 23, 6:15pm at the UNR campus! Our
first evening meeting of 2010 will be held in the Dr. Rita
Laden Senate Chambers, on the 3rd floor of the Joe Crowley
Student Union.
The meeting is titled “InDesign Mojo – Part 1”. What exactly is “Mojo”, you ask? Webster’s defines it as “a container for one or more magical items”.
When hearing the word “Mojo”, one
anticipates an experience that defies explanation, yet implies
purposeful power. This neatly describes what we’ve come to
expect from InDesign. Far more than a simple page-layout application,
it’s true power lies in its ability to act as a portal for
multi-channel publishing.
No better example of “Mojo” exists
than the synergy between Adobe InDesign, InCopy and Acrobat.
With the continued emergence of “green” publishing incentives,
this symbiotic relationship is no longer simply “cool”…it
is vital.
Jim Cooper from Apsiva will propose
a variety of low-overhead, high-impact adjustments to your
publishing process that could reap residual benefits for your
organization. This meeting will be equally beneficial for
authors, editors, graphic artists, and new-media publishers.
Look forward to seeing you there!
The meeting location will be the
Dr. Rita Laden Senate Chambers, on the 3rd floor of the Joe
Crowley Student Union. A map link is included below:
